1. Obtain a plant tub and ensure there are adequate drainage holes at the bottom of the tub.
2. Add potting soil and water gently until damp.
3. After the tub has been properly prepared, insert the capsule end of the pencil 1-2cm into the soil at an angle.
4. Water the soil around the capsule regularly to maintain moistness.
5. DO NOT OVERWATER.
6. Direct sunlight is not recommended for growing the Seed Pencil. Natural sunlight and a temperature of 20°C-25°C is preferential for growth.
7. Plants will start budding through the soil from about 10 to 15 days onwards.
8. The pencil can be removed or left to biodegrade in the soil.

Absolutely – you are able to mix and match between seeds and capsules for each pencil. An order can be broken into various combinations. Additionally, we can quote on branding, both the pencil as well as the info card that each pencil comes with. All branding is co-branded with Seed Pencil.

We offer FREE delivery for orders over R1000 ex VAT to major city centers. These centers include Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, East London, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Pietermaritzburg and Kimberley.

Seed pencils will take on average 1-2 days to manufacture and a further 3-5 days to brand. If you have an urgent deadline, let us know and we will see what we can do. Deliveries are done nationwide with The Courier Guy and it depends on where you are based.
